Design-Based Research (DBR)

Is really clear that new researchers are concerned about develop of better educational practices. The design-based research is a methodology with a multiplicity of methods who is able to combine scientific research with the practice in real life.

“ DBR is defined as both a systematic and flexible research framework aiming to understand the messiness of practice and trying to enhance the learning this by iterative analyses, designs, developments and implementation.” (Graaff, Kolmos &Moller, 2014).

An important point to note is the absence of structured theories in practice the DBR, this process basically seeks the design and development of resources focused on improving the teaching-learning process.

The context has the same importance for this method in the educational research has literature and practice. In short, the DBR is a suite of methods that allow obtaining positive results, like the most showing of the autor´s research, by implementing experiments designed specifically for the educational environment in which it seeks to influence.
